Louisa Lippmann is a German female volleyball player. She plays as an outside hitter or opposite for Savino Del Bene Scandicci and has over 100 appearances for the German women’s national volleyball team. Louisa Lippmann played in many international competitions (FIVB World Championships, FIVB World Grand Prix, FIVB Nations League, European Championships, European Leagues, European Games) and won the German league, cup, and Supercup with the clubs she played for.
Louisa Lippmann was born on September 23, 1994, in Herford, Germany. She started with athletics before trying volleyball at TG Herford.
In 2010, Louisa Lippmann started playing volleyball for USC Munster II in German Bundesliga 2 North. She stayed in the team for 2 seasons before moving to the senior team USC Munster to play in the German Bundesliga. The team played also in the Europe Women’s Challenge Cup.
In 2014, Louisa Lippmann joined the club Dresdner SC 1898. In her maiden season with the team, she won the German Bundesliga and the German Cup and played also in the Champions League, where she finished 8th. She stayed another season with Dresdner SC 1898, but this time the volleyball club performed less successfully.
Thus, in 2016, she signed with SSC Palmberg Schwerin. Louisa Lippmann was important player for the team and helped them to win the German Bundesliga and was the runner-up in the German Cup. The team also was third in the Europe Women’s Challenge Cup. In 2017/2018, SSC Palmberg Schwerin won German Bundesliga again and the Supercup, but was also third in CEV Cup.
In 2018, Louisa Lippmann moved to Italy and signed with Il Bisonte Firenze. The team finished 7th in the Italian Serie A1. However, the German volleyball player stayed only one season in the team.
In 2019, Louisa Lippmann returned to Germany to play for SSC Palmberg Schwerin. With the team, she won the German Supercup. In the mid-season, however, she moved to China to play for Shanghai Bright Ubest.
In 2020, Louisa Lippmann signed with Lokomotiv Kaliningrad, winning the Russian Women’s Volleyball Championship in 2020/2021.
In 2021, she signed with the Italian volleyball team Savino Del Bene Scandicci, winning the Europe Women’s Challenge Cup.
At the international level, Louisa Lippmann has over 100 appearances for the German women’s national volleyball team. With the national team, she won the 2014 Montreux Volley Masters, and was the runner-up at the 2014 Women’s European Volleyball League and the 2017 Montreux Volley Masters.
