Hristina Vuchkova is a Bulgarian volleyball player. She plays as a central blocker for the Bulgarian national team and the Turkish volleyball club Fenerbahce Opet. She is a European League champion in 2018.
Hristina Vuchkova was born on Hristina Vuchkova, Bulgaria. She started with volleyball at school and then developed her skills at the youth club of CSKA Sofia.
Hristina Vuchkova debuted in professional volleyball for the Bulgarian team CSKA Sofia in 2008. After just one season for the club, she moved to Levski Sofia, where played for one season too.
In 2010, Hristina Vuchkova returned to CSKA Sofia becoming the Bulgarian League champion and Bulgarian Cup winner in 2010/2011.
After the very successful season, she moved to Italy and signed with Norda Foppapedretti Bergamo to play in the Italian Serie A1 and Champions League. The team won the Italian Superup and finished 4th in the Italian Serie A1 and 5th in the Champions League.
In the next seasons, Hristina Vuchkova played for Telekom Baku (Azerbaijan) in 2012/2013, Liu Jo Modena (Italy) in 2013/2014, Nilуfer Belediyespor (Turkey) in 2014/2015, and again Telekom Baku (Azerbaijan) in 2015/2016.
Hristina Vuchkova returned in 2016 to Turkey to sign with Galatasaray a 2-year contract. The team finished 3rd in the CEV Cup and 4th in the Champions League.
She played for Türk Hava Yolları SK (Turkey) in 2018/2019, VC Maritza (Bulgaria) in 2019/2020, and PTT Spor (Turkey) in 2020/2021.
In 2021/2022, Hristina Vuchkova competed for Imoco Volley Conegliano, making the Treble in the Italian championship (Super Cup of Italy, Cup of Italy and Championship of Italy) in the same year, improved the Guinness World Record with 74 consecutive victories and won two silver medals at the 2021-2022 Club World Cup (Ankara) and the Champions League (Ljubljana).
After the great success in Italy, Hristina Vuchkova signed with Beijing BAIC Motor (China) for one season, before returning to Turkey and signing with Fenerbahce Opet in 2022/2023.
At the international level, Hristina Vuchkova playes for the Bulgarian national volleyball team. She is the winner f the European League in 2018 and runner up in 2010 and 2012.
