Fleur Meinders is a Dutch volleyball player for the German Bundesliga team Ladies in Black Aachen. She is a bronze medalist at the German Cup 2022/2023, as well as twice Women’s Dutch Eredivisie runner-up. She also plays for the Netherlands’ national volleyball team and competed at the Volleyball Nations League 2023.
Fleur Meinders was born on August 13, 2001. She started in volleyball at school and the junior formation of her home club.
Fleur Meinders made her professional debut in 2017 for the local team Talentteam Papendal Arhnem. She played with the club for three seasons, during which the team was in the mid of the standings in the Women Dutch Eredivisie. In 2018, she was also called up for the Netherlands U19 national team to play in the European Championship Qualification U19.
In 2020, she signed for two seasons with one of the leaders in the Dutch Eredivisie – Apollo 8. In her maiden season with the club, they won the Dutch Cup and the silver at the Dutch Eredivisie. In the second season with the club, she played also in the Women’s Challenge Cup, where finished 17th. The team also won the silver at the Dutch Eredivisie and the bronze at the Dutch Cup.
In 2022, Fleur Meinders signed with Ladies in Black Aachen to play in the German Bundesliga. In her maiden season with the club, they won the bronze at the German Cup 2022/2023 and she was called into the Netherlands’ national volleyball team for the Volleyball Nations League 2023.
