Lara Caravello is an Italian volleyball player, who plays as a Libero for the local club Cuneo Granda San Bernardo. She is a Women’s Champions League gold and silver medalist, as well as a Women’s Club World Championship silver medalist. She also had won twice the Italian Serie A1, Italian Cup, and Italian Supercup.
Lara Caravello was born on May 4, 1994, in Udine, Italy. She started playing volleyball as a kid and developed her skills at the youth clubs Rizzi Udine and Libertas Martignacco.
Lara Caravello turned professional in 2012, moving from the youth to the senior team of Itas Citta Fiera Martignacco to play in the Italian Serie B2. In her maiden season, they won the group and qualified for the Italian Serie B1, where they played in the next three seasons. During that time, Lara Caravello gained experience and became a key player for the club.
In 2016, she signed with Volley Soverato to play in the Italian Serie A2. In her only season with the club, they finished 4th in the Italian Serie A2 and 5th in the Italian Cup A2.
In 2017, Lara Caravello returned to Itas Citta Fiera Martignacco, where helped the team to win the Italian Serie B1 and qualify for the upper league. In the 2018/2019 season, her team finished 10th in the Italian Serie A2 but won the bronze at the Italian Cup A2.
In 2020, Lara Caravello signed with the elite volleyball club Prosecco Doc Imoco Volley Conegliano. In both seasons when she played for the club, they made a treble in Italy, winning the Italian Serie A1, Italian Cup, and Italian Supercup. In the 2020/2021 season, her team also won the Champions League, while in the next season, she earned silver at the Champions League and Club World Championship.
In 2022, Lara Caravello signed with another elite but lower ambitious club Cuneo Granda San Bernardo, finishing 12th in the Italian Serie A1 and 5th in the Italian Cup.
