Lucia Imperiali is an Italian volleyball player, playing as a Libero in the volleyball club CBL Costa Volpino in Italian Serie B1. With the team Igor Gorgonzola Novara, Lucia Imperiali is a bronze medalist in the 2021/2022 Italian Serie A1 and silver medalist in the 2021/2022 Italian Cup and 2021/2022 Italian Supercup.
Lucia Imperiali was born on May 5, 1999, in Varese, Italy. She was introduced to volleyball at an early age and developed her skills in her hometown’s team.
Lucia Imperiali started her professional career for the team Progetto Volley Orago in Italian Serie B2 Group A. She played for the club for 6 years and during all the seasons the team was out of the Top 10 of the championship.
In 2017, Lucia Imperiali signed a three-year contract with Zanetti Bergamo to play in the Italian Serie A1. In her maiden season, the team was 10th in the standings, while in the second season, they finished in 9th position. During the third season, the Italian Serie A1 competition was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.
In 2020, Lucia Imperiali was transferred to Ipag Sorelle Ramonda Montecchio in Italian Serie A2. The team finished 18th in the standings.
Lucia Imperiali signed with Igor Gorgonzola Novara for season 2021/2022. In her only one season with the club, they won bronze medals in the Italian Serie A1 and silver medals in the Italian Cup and Italian Supercup. The team also played in the Champions League, finishing in the 9th position.
In 2022, Lucia Imperiali again left the top-level Italian volleyball and signed with CBL Costa Volpino to play in the Italian Serie B1.
