Malina Terrell is an American volleyball player, who plays as an opposite in the Serbian elite volleyball club OK Zeleznicar. She was awarded the Best scorer and Best outside hitter at the French French Ligue A 2019/2020, the Best scorer and Best server at the Women Danish VolleyLigaen 2014/2015, and Best outside hitter and Best server at the Women Finland Mestaruusliiga 2017/2018. She won the bronze at the CEV Cup in 2020/2021, as well as the silver at the Women’s French Ligue A 2020/2021.
Malina Terrell was born on March 12, 1992. She started playing volleyball at school and showed great talent. She was named Bay Shore Athletic League MVP at Salesian High School and team MVP at Salesian High School. Her club team Golden Bear Volleyball qualified for nationals.
Malina Terrell played college volleyball between 2010/2011 and 2013/2014, playing in the NCAA – Big East Conference and the NCAA – West Coast Conference.
In 2014, she signed with Denmark’s volleyball team Fortuna Odense Volley to play in the Danish VolleyLigaen. The team finished 4th in the league and the cup. The next season, Malina Terrell moved to Germany to play for the local Nawaro Straubing to play in the German Bundesliga, where finished 11th, averaging 9.60 ppg. Meanwhile, during the season, she signed with the Puerto Rican volleyball team Indias de Mayaguez to play in the Puerto Rican League 2015/2016, where finished 4th.
In 2016, Malina Terrell returned to Europe and signed with Finland’s club Oriveden Ponnistus. In her only season with the team, she won the bronze at the Finland Mestaruusliiga, averaging 15.00 ppg, and Finland Cup, averaging 9.00 ppg. During the season she played also in the Challenge Cup.
Malina Terrell signed with another Finland volleyball club Polkky Kuusamo in 2017. With the team, she became the runner-up at the Finland Cup 2017/2018 and finished 6th at the Finland Mestaruusliiga.
In 2028, Malina Terrell moved to France and signed to the local Beziers Volley, where stayed for three seasons. During her maiden season, the team finished 5th in the French Ligue A and French Cup and also played in the Champions League. In the last season with the club, 2020/2021, they won the silver at the French Ligue A, averaging 32.00 ppg, as well as bronze at the CEV Cup (averaging 35.00 ppg) and the French Cup (averaging 15.00 ppg).
Malina Terrell moved to Greece and signed with AEK Athens in 2021. She stayed only one season with the volleyball club finishing 6th at the Greek A1 Etniki and 5th in the Greek Cup
In 2022, she returned to France and signed with Saint-Raphaël Var Volley-Ball. In her only season with the team, they finished 10th in French Ligue A, with her averaging 10.40 ppg, and 9th in the French Cup, with her averaging 7.25 ppg.
Malina Terrell signed with the Serbian club OK Zeleznicar in 2023, where she is currently playing. The team plays in the Serbian Superleague and the Challenge Cup.
