Maria Stenzel is a Polish volleyball player. She is part of the Poland women’s national volleyball team and plays as a libero at the Grupa Azoty Chemik Police. She participated in the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship, 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U20 World Championship, and the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League.
Maria Stenzel was born on November 25, 1998, in Koscian, Poland. She started playing sports at an early age, but moved to volleyball only when she was in school. She played for the UKS ZSMS Poznan U20 before turning professional.
Maria Stenzel started her professional career at the team of SMS PZPS Szczyrk in 2015. She played for the club two seasons, finishing 9th at the Polish 1. Liga Kobiet in both.
In 2016, she moved to VolleyWroclaw, where reached third place in the Polish Cup. For the team, she played again for two seasons.
Maria Stenzel signed with Grot Budowlani Lodz in 2018, where played for three seasons. In her maiden season with the team she won the Polish Supercup, finished second in the TAURON Liga and third in the Polish Cup. The team also played in the Champions League. In the second season, the team performed worse and finished 5th in the TAURON Liga and the Polish Cup. In 2020/2021, she won with Grot Budowlani Lodz again the Polish Supercup and finished second in the Polish Cup
In 2021, Maria Stenzel signed with Grupa Azoty Chemik Police to play again in the Champions League. The team won the TAURON Liga and was the runner-up for the Polish Supercup.
