Martyna Swirad is a Polish volleyball player, who plays as a Middle-blocker for the local club MOYA Radomka Radom. She was awarded the Best Blocker in the TAURON Liga 2019/2020 and also is a bronze medalist at the PreZero Grand Prix PLS 2021/2022.
Martyna Swirad was born on January 5, 1998. She started playing volleyball with the junior club Olimp Czudec, before moving to MKS San-Pajda Jaroslaw.
Martyna Swirad started her professional career in 2014 to play for the SMS PZPS Szczyrk in the Polish 1. Liga Kobiet. She was also called for the junior national team to play at the European Championships U18 2015, European Youth Olympic Festival 2015, and World Championships U19 2015, finishing in the Top 8 of all three competitions. In the 2015/2016 season, her team finished 9th at the Polish 1. Liga Kobiet and played in the Polish Cup.
In the 2016/2017 season, Martyna Swirad returned to play for the MKS SAN-PAJDA Jaroslaw U20 team and finished 7th in the Polish Championships U20. She also played for the junior national team at the Polish Championships U20 2016/17.
In 2017, Martyna Swirad signed with BKS Bielsko-Biala to play in the TAURON Liga. In her maiden season with the team, they finished 7th in the TAURON Liga and 5th in the Polish Cup, while in the second season finished 5th in the TAURON Liga. In the 2019/2020 season, BKS Bielsko-Biala was again in the middle of the table in the TAURON Liga, finishing 7th, while in the Polish Cup was 5th. Martyna Swirad continued her career in the club in the next two seasons, being a key player for the team, winning the bronze at the PreZero Grand Prix PLS in the 2021/2022 season.
In 2022, Martyna Swirad signed with the volleyball club MOYA Radomka Radom, and continued playing in the Polish TAURON Liga and the Polish Cup.
