Marie-Alex Bеlanger is a Canadian female volleyball player. She was part of the Canada women’s national volleyball team and participated at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, and the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship. She is a bronze medalist at the 2019 NORCECA Championships and was awarded the Best outside hitter of the U Sports Championship in 2016/2017.
Marie-Alex Bеlanger was born on April 13, 1993. She started in volleyball as a kid and showed her skills at school. She played U Sports volleyball for the University of Montreal Carabins for five seasons from 2013 to 2018. At the U Sports National Championship, she won the bronze with the team in the 2014/2015 season and was also awarded the Best outside hitter of the U Sports Championship in 2016/2017. In 2018, she won both the Mary Lyons Award for U Sports Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year and also the BLG Award for the U Sports Female Athlete of the Year.
Marie-Alex Bеlanger started playing professional volleyball in 2018 for the club Volley-Ball Club Chamalieres. The club finished 5th in the French Cup and 12th in the French Ligue A.
In 2019, she signed with the Swiss club Volley Lugano, finishing 5th in the Swiss League.
In 2020, Marie-Alex Bеlanger moved to Turkey to play for the Nevsehir Belediye Spor to play in the Turkiye Kadinlar Voleybol 1. Ligi, where the team finished 5th.
In 2021, she returned to Switzerland to play for the Sm’Aesch Pfeffingen, winning the silver at the Swiss League and playing at the Challenge Cup.
